Talent Sourcer

Setpoint is building critical infrastructure that powers important financial transactions for banks and lenders. The Talent Sourcer will own top-of-funnel hiring, partner with recruiters and hiring managers, and develop targeted pipelines of high-caliber talent across various functions.

Responsibilities

Own top-of-funnel sourcing for priority roles across the business: define ideal candidate profiles, build target lists, and drive outbound outreach
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, calibrate on profiles, and refine search strategies over time
Use tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and our ATS to research markets, identify talent pools, and build and maintain prospect pipelines
Craft thoughtful, tailored outbound campaigns that reflect Setpoint’s voice and resonate with different candidate audiences
Proactively surface and pitch strong candidates, ensuring recruiters and hiring managers have a steady pipeline of qualified prospects
Maintain clean, accurate candidate data in the ATS; ensure prospects are tagged, tracked, and progressed (or closed out) consistently
Track and report on key sourcing metrics (response rates, conversion by stage, source quality) and suggest experiments to improve results
Contribute to employer brand efforts by sharing market feedback, suggesting content for outbound, and championing candidate experience
Support occasional full-cycle recruiting tasks (scheduling, closing support, etc.) as bandwidth and business needs require
Support recruiting coordination needs, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, and ensuring interviews start on time and run smoothly

Required

3 - 5 years of sourcing or recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment (startup or high-growth company strongly preferred)
Proven success sourcing for GTM and/or technical roles using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and modern ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse/Ashby)
Strong research skills: comfortable with boolean searches, market mapping, and creative approaches to finding niche profiles
Excellent written communication and storytelling; you know how to write outreach that candidates actually respond to
Strong organization and follow-through — you keep pipelines tidy, notes current, and stakeholders in the loop
Comfort using data to prioritize roles, iterate on search strategies, and communicate tradeoffs and progress
A bias for action, sound judgment, and a candidate-first mindset — you move quickly without sacrificing quality or integrity
