The Director of Revenue Management and Business Analysis will develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation, analyze market trends, and collaborate with various teams to enhance customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation

Lead revenue management function in ongoing analysis of property performance and trends to develop pricing strategies to drive customer acquisition

Hold team accountable to stated objectives

Produce projections and budgets of revenue and financial performance for existing portfolio and new client/development opportunities

Continue to develop and enhance pricing using historical, current and seasonal trends informed by individual submarkets and industry dynamics

Use data analytics, modeling and related techniques to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions

Analyze available systems and data to identify trends in customer leads, conversion, sales, customer experience and property operations, to support future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals

Provide critical input to operational and property leaders for development of market sales strategy

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing and finance teams to streamline customer acquisition, retention and revenue operations

Engage directly with owners to proactively respond to inquiries and drive optimized business outcomes

Drive continuous improvement in revenue processes and systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field required

5+ years experience in revenue management, data analytics, pricing or related roles

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to draw insights from large datasets and provide direction for revenue optimization

Proficient in using revenue management software and tools, such as revenue management systems (RMS) and data visualization tools

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and collaborate stakeholders including senior executives, property owners and managers and cross functional departments

In-depth understanding of revenue cycles, pricing strategies and revenue forecasting in Self-Storage or a related industry
