Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals
Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, processes, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Manage timelines, Architecture and resources to ensure successful delivery of projects
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the engineering team

Required

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role with 3-4 reportees
Strong technical background with expertise in software development, architecture, and design
5+ years of Hands-on development experience with UI Technology like Angular, React and backend technologies (Java or .NET)
2+ years of Hands-on working experience with Scaled Agile methodologies and practices
Hands-on working knowledge in cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP and understanding of GenAI engineering concepts
Usage of GenAI development tools like MS copilot and GIT copilot, Amazon Q and the like
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of the employee benefits domain and claimant experience is a plus

Preferred

Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture
Familiarity with modern front-end and back-end development frameworks and tools
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
