Responsibilities
Provide a safe and comfortable healing environment for our patients by ensuring clean, sanitary, and attractive facilities
Follow standard precautions and established procedures for the safe use of cleaning chemicals and safe disposal of biohazardous waste
Work with a range of potentially hazardous biological waste and trash
Use full PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) provided for all EVS staff to ensure personal safety
Work effectively both as part of a small team and independently
Accurately follow written and/or verbal instructions
Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills
Read and understand instructions, chemical labels, and other written documents
Provide great customer service skills
Receive and manage sensitive information professionally
Handle stressful situations calmly; be emotionally mature
Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, push/pull equipment, and meet other mobility requirements
Lift/move up to 30 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 30 lbs. with assistance
Work in a confidential manner
Be reliable and timely with work schedule
Be flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned
