Field Research Associate

Greene Resources is seeking a Field Research Associate to join a growing and dynamic team. The role involves coordinating project communications, assisting in recruitment activities, developing research protocols, and managing data collection efforts.

Responsibilities

Coordinating project communications and meetings, including scheduling meetings, developing meeting agendas, note-taking, drafting progress reports, and monitoring project timelines
Assisting in recruitment activities, including traveling to recruitment events
Developing research study protocols
Tracking and monitoring participant study progress and completion of assessments
Assisting with data collection, including administering interviews, questionnaires, and behavioral tasks, and collecting heart rate data in children, following electronic survey protocols, and scheduling administration of assessments
Working with supervisors to administer suicide risk assessments with children and caregivers
Working with collaborating university sites to coordinate study activities
Assisting in data management activities
Traveling to assist with trainings and data collection
Reviewing and proofing own work for accuracy and completeness
Assisting in writing reports and preparing tables/figures

Required

Experience in research methods is required
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Public Health, Sociology, or a related area, is required
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and with teams, and to establish and maintain good working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work and interact well with children, adolescents, and caregivers

Preferred

1 year of relevant experience (could include internships or undergrad research assistantships)
Demonstrated interest/background in one or more of the following topical areas: mental health promotion, including suicidal thoughts and behaviors, disadvantaged populations; research on trauma and exposure to violence
Demonstrated interest/background in one or more of the following technical areas: mental health research studies, data collection, and qualitative and quantitative analysis
Experience conducting research or data collection with youth and/or caregivers on sensitive topics such as mental health, victimization, or related topics
