Responsibilities
Assist in planning, designing, and executing civil/site projects for municipal, commercial, and industrial clients
Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
Perform grading, drainage, utility, and earthwork calculations, ensuring compliance with codes and standards
Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate field conditions and verify construction aligns with design intent
Support project management efforts by tracking schedules, budgets, and project deliverables
Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to identify solutions to design or construction challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
0–3 years of experience for Level I; 3–6 years for Level II in civil/site engineering projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software
Knowledge of grading, stormwater management, utility design, and construction standards
Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Ability to perform site visits and travel to project locations as needed
Preferred
PE licensure preferred for Level II
