Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities during your shift to ensure continuous and efficient operation of automated BIW systems
Lead maintenance technicians and electricians in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment
Ensure proper functionality of automated equipment used throughout the BIW processes
Respond promptly to equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support shift operations and minimize downtime
Maintain accurate shift logs, maintenance records, and downtime reports
Support and enforce preventive maintenance schedules and work orders through the CMMS
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations
Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical competency and foster continuous improvement
Assist with spare parts management and inventory control
Adjust work schedules as needed to meet production requirements
Enforce Lucid Motors standards and manage external integrators throughout specification, design review, and design approval
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with industrial robotics (Fanuc)
Knowledge of BIW joining processes such as resistance welding, SPR, and sealing
Familiarity with CMMS platforms
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
In-depth knowledge of maintenance activities, TPM scheduling, and manufacturing operations
Bachelor's degree in electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
Experience in the automotive industry, preferably BIW, in a supervisory or lead role
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational abilities
