Responsibilities

Influence and align cross-functional teams (Networking, Storage, SRE, Product) on platform evolution
Coach engineers across all levels, raising the technical bar in systems programming and distributed systems
Architect and evolve hypervisor integrations (libvirt, QEMU, KVM) across thousands of hosts
Design scalable, automated networking systems built on BGP, EVPN, and OVS
Lead large-scale automation and provisioning frameworks with GitLab CI/CD and Puppet/Ansible
Champion observability and reliability practices with Grafana, Sentry, and SumoLogic
Drive advanced performance tuning across CPU, memory, I/O, networking, and storage layers

Qualification

Required

Expert-level experience in Rust or other compiled languages for systems programming
Proven record architecting and scaling hypervisor-based infrastructure
Mastery of Linux internals, kernel debugging, and performance engineering
Strong background in networking automation (BGP, EVPN, OVS)
Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and infrastructure automation (Puppet/Ansible)
Track record of setting technical strategy and mentoring senior engineers
