The role involves performing routine calibrations, tests, and inspections in-lab or on-site using accredited standards, ensuring high standards through calibration and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities
Perform calibration and certification of basic electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications, ensuring traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Calibrate and repair equipment such as multimeters, timers, pressure gauges, thermometers, scales, torque wrenches
Record maintenance activities in CMS, generate reports on results of tests, conditions of equipment and/or systems, repairs, and preventive maintenance performed, and prepare necessary documentation as required by customer and regulatory requirements
Utilize common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment
Complete all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma with 2+ years of experience in the field, OR associate's degree in engineering technology or a relevant field with 1 year of experience
Working knowledge of one or more of the following voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, torque wrenches, dimensional hand tools, pressure gauges, force and load devices
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Excel
Preferred
Experience with IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, and Met/Cal systems
Familiarity with laboratory measurement and calibration equipment
