Future Opportunities - Culture Associate

Hebrew Public is a network of charter schools dedicated to developing global citizens. The Culture Associate will support students and teachers by managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive school culture.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom management support
Provide 1:1, small group, and whole class assistance as needed to students
Lead group sessions using Zones of Regulation
Maintain culture office hours during the day to receive students who are referred out of the classroom
Input all behavior-related data into Kickboard
Report all behavior referrals to the Dean of Culture
Attend and participate in culture team meetings and professional development
Partner and communicate with families about student behavior and collaborative problem solving
Lead a monthly community gathering for assigned grade

Required

High School degree required
The ability to create a school environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Ability to set clear expectations and boundaries with students
Ability to build quick rapport with students
Passion and commitment to teaching students in underserved areas and belief that all students can succeed
Relentless drive to set and achieve ambitious goals
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience teaching or working with students in underserved areas preferred
