Senior IT Systems Integration Engineer, SLD 45/RM

Responsibilities
Knowledge of professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to effectively apply advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts to project development, execution, and advisory services
Knowledge of development testing and evaluation sufficient to apply experimental theories and new applications to issues and provide technical advice and direction in support of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment
Knowledge of range instrumentation and systems, integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment sufficient to plan, design, test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the development and/or sustainment of electronic systems or devices
Knowledge of the principles of planning and program management, standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures; and other engineering disciplines
Ability to devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for design approaches, and to assess the impact of new technology on current systems and processes
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in a professional manner with peers, management, contractors, academia, and other agencies
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required
Extensive knowledge of systems integration principles, cloud computing, networking, security, database management, and related technologies
Experience with various operating systems, hardware platforms, and software applications
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and scripting
Demonstrated experience in managing complex systems integration projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, collaborate with team members, and manage stakeholder expectations
A minimum of 2 years of experience in systems integration, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
A professional engineering degree at the bachelor's level from an ABET accredited institution in engineering or a closely related field is required
The employee must meet the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements applicable to the duties of the position
Preferred
A Master's degree is preferred
Experience working with government agencies or in the aerospace industry is a plus
