Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director of Quality, coordinates and implements performance analysis and reporting for Senior Leadership, Clinicians and Administrators in support of Quality Improvement Initiatives
Implements data collection and reporting strategies for evaluation of key quality performance initiatives, quality metrics, outcomes evaluation, etc
Interfaces data from external facilities/organization for reporting purposes; develops and analyzes systems and support tools needed to obtain information or statistics vital to Quality Improvement efforts
Investigates data quality problems and reporting issues with recommended solutions
Delivers reports and owns various Quality metrics dashboards/scoreboards
Manually and electronically provide EMR data in support of contractual and incentive programs
Collaborates with clinical and IT staff to support defined business requirements
Works with external Business Partners (i.e. Payers, ACO, CMS) to facilitate receipt and delivery of quality data
Analyzes data and prepares data trend reports
Maintains consistency and integrity of data collection and storage
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Basic Sciences or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible related work experience, including knowledge of research methods, basic statistics, business intelligence applications, and data analysis
Excellent analytical abilities and good problem solving skills, required
Exceptional computer skills required, specifically reporting metrics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including strong Excel skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, required
Detail oriented, excellent follow up
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Must be service oriented, quick learner, team player
Preferred
Clinical/Healthcare experience, preferred
EMR and Billing/Claims familiarity, preferred
