Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels in international business and/or related subjects; participate in service to the IB&S Group, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and the discipline; and develop an appropriate independent research program necessary to achieve and maintain AACSB qualification as a Scholarly Academic
The successful candidate will be able to teach courses covering topics in both international business and strategy
Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified to teach courses related to cross-cultural management and cultural literacy/agility
Teaching Professor: teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs (60%), research to maintain scholarly academic status (20%), services to the IB&S group, DMSB and the University (20%)
Lecturer: teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs (90%), services to the IB&S Group, DMSB and the University (10%)

Doctorate in International BusinessMaster's degree in ManagementCollege teaching experienceResearch skillsCommitment to teaching excellenceFostering environment of belongingCross-cultural managementCultural literacy/agility

Required

Master's degree for Lecturer candidates
Doctorate in International Business, Management, or a closely related field for Teaching Professor candidates
At least 4 years of college teaching and/or professional experience for candidates at ranks above the entry-level
Commitment to excellence in teaching and research
Fostering an environment of belonging for the student population

Preferred

Qualified to teach courses related to cross-cultural management and cultural literacy/agility
