Data and Reporting Specialist

The University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College is accepting applications for a Data and Reporting Specialist. This role is responsible for utilizing data preparation and query applications to produce reliable information that aids in making data-informed recommendations regarding student success and program viability.

Responsibilities

Utilize data preparation and query applications to extract, compile, analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data-related issues clearly and succinctly to various audiences
Performs querying, data extraction, analysis and reporting on assigned data topics
Analyze workforce data to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of grant reporting requirements
Collaborates with stakeholders on data and technical needs
Assures the confidentiality of data, including sensitive information related to students, faculty, and staff

Required

Bachelor's degree required in an appropriate area of specialization, with emphasis in data analytics and/or information management
Advanced experience working with large datasets in Excel
Strong organizational skills and analytical capabilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team toward common goals, and to coordinate efforts and collaborate with a variety of individuals

Preferred

Demonstrated track record of compiling and presenting data for grants
Experience working with State or Federal Workforce agencies
