Responsibilities

Create engineered designs, device layouts, network diagrams, scopes of work, and system specifications for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and enterprise networked security solutions

Provide detailed design and validation for network architecture, VLANs, switching, routing, and system interoperability

Redesign or optimize existing customer systems to improve reliability, performance, or scalability

Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales cycle—translating requirements, offering product recommendations, and generating accurate system designs and quotes

Participate in discovery meetings, RFP/RFI responses, onsite evaluations, and customer presentations

Deliver technical demonstrations and training to customers, sales teams, and internal staff

Support installation teams with design intent clarity, system programming, device configuration, test/turn-up, and troubleshooting

Travel to project sites for system startup, integration, validation, and training

Prepare as-built drawings, documentation packages, and final closeout materials

Maintain expert-level knowledge of enterprise security platforms such as Gallagher, Lenel, Axis, Avigilon, and Milestone

Support development of new design tools, templates, and standards that strengthen the KB brand

Keep accurate project documentation, account notes, and correspondence within company systems
