Business Development Specialist

Responsibilities
Drive new business development across West Michigan
Build strong community and client relationships through networking, events, and outreach
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding hiring needs and workforce challenges
Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored recruitment solutions and support a smooth client handoff
Expand services within existing accounts through additional hiring solutions and offerings
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage a strong sales pipeline
Track KPIs and provide insight using analytics and reporting tools
Represent Axios Recruitment at community, industry, and chamber events to strengthen brand presence
Qualification
Required
Proven B2B sales or service-based sales experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset
Highly self-motivated, independent, and proactive in a field-based role
Tech-savvy with CRM and analytics tool experience
Comfortable attending occasional after-hours networking events
A collaborative team player who thrives in a values-driven, employee-owned environment
