Director of Information Technology
CPCD is dedicated to providing early childhood education and support services to children in need. The Director of Information Technology will lead the technology strategy and operations for the organization, ensuring secure and reliable IT systems that align with CPCD's mission and goals.

Responsibilities
Provides strategic and operational leadership for all technology systems that support CPCD’s administrative, instructional, and community-facing programs
Leads the development and execution of the agency’s technology strategy
Ensures secure and reliable IT operations across administrative offices and remote classroom sites
Aligns technology initiatives with CPCD’s mission, vision, values, and long-term organizational goals
Establishes and enforces IT policies, standards, and procedures
Oversees cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and application systems
Manages vendor relationships
Leads a high-performing IT team that delivers excellent service to staff, families, and community partners
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in a computer-related field or equivalent combination of education, certification, and professional experience
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive IT experience, including staff supervision, budgeting, and project management
Demonstrated Expertise in:
Microsoft 365 and Windows administration
Active Directory and identity management
Basic networking (LAN, WAN, wireless, firewalls)
Cybersecurity principles and risk mitigation
Hardware, peripherals, printers, and end-user device management
Technical writing and documentation
Fundamentals of relational databases
Experience providing training and support to non-technical users with emphasis on customer service
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of data, systems, and staff/family information
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing. (TN Screening and Physical thereafter as required)
Must have access to reliable transportation, and if using a personal vehicle, must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado
Preferred
ITIL Foundation Certification
Experience with SharePoint administration and governance
Ten (10) years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role

Paid Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Juneteenth, Presidents Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Paid Breaks include 1-week for Spring Break (March), 1-week for Fall Break (November), and 2- weeks for Winter Break (end of December/beginning of January).
