Responsibilities

Complete order entry, EDI review, and forecast development
Contact customers by telephone
Process return goods authorizations
Coordinate delivery dates and shipping quantities with the internal and external customers
Perform billing transactions, including appropriate tags, stickers and documentation
Create reports of shipped products for OEM and customers
Review company scorecards at assigned customers and maintain files to dispute discrepancies when necessary
Evaluate material inventories to ensure items are available
Communicate with Master Scheduler and Production Supervisor to ensure inventory and daily quantities
Participate in customer meetings held onsite and at customer locations or by telephone
Aid in warranty reduction, disputes, and replacement process
Aid in product life cycle process continue through obsolescence
Monitor and communicate customer specifications and changes in relation to designated customers
Other duties as assigned
Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers
Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings

Required

Analyze customer forecasts, orders, and shipping schedules to create a monthly sales budget for the MP&L, manufacturing, and finance departments
Interact with the customers' production control team to ensure the company maintains satisfactory supplier scores and conforms to the OEM's shipping requirements, EDI requirements, etc
Complete order entry, EDI review, and forecast development
Contact customers by telephone
Process return goods authorizations

Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining emotional and physical control
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, to draw and interpret bar graphs, and calculate truckload quantities based on daily forecasts
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to multi-task with multiple shipments
Ability to support a Saturday morning and weekly night coverage rotation schedule as needed
Ability to travel in a group or on own when needed

Preferred

Associate's Degree preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, or Logistics would be an advantage
Two years accounting experience preferred
Must demonstrate computer literacy; Proficient using Microsoft Office
