Administrative Center Aide
Kidango is an early learning nonprofit committed to supporting children's development. The Administrative Center Aide will provide administrative support to center directors and teaching staff while also assisting in the classroom as needed.

Responsibilities
Assist the Center Director in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the program. Clerk/Teacher Aides may be assigned to support up to three centers (depending on center size), all located in one region
Maintain and update records on-site, including but not limited to: enrollment, attendance, meal counts, daily logs, teacher files, child files, curriculum sheets, Learning Genie, ASQs, child observations and assessments, and parent participation and surveys
Assists in planning and preparing the learning environment, and purchasing and preparing needed materials and supplies
Calendar management, including scheduling of meetings with various departments
Distribute and collect forms, announcements, and other center-related documents
Assist in sending out newsletters, emails, and other communications to families and staff
Review reports and child files to ensure accurate record keeping, documentation, quality of services, and compliance
General administrative tasks such as filing, phones, data entry, compiling paperwork and ordering supplies
Assist center with coverage for staff breaks, meal prep, nap time, and, if needed, staff absences
Maintains confidentiality of all children, families, and staff
Assists other centers when requested
Attends meetings as requested
Participates in activities that further own professional growth
Assumes general responsibility for the health, safety, and well-being of all children, and reports any concerns to their supervisor, center director, or the Human Resources department
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or an associate degree may be preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Effective, clear and strong communication both verbally and in writing
Enjoys working with a team and working with young children
Ability to problem solve
Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with other employees
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Google Docs, and other cloud-based computer applications
Respects diversity and embraces working with multicultural communities
Ability to accept responsibility, work independently and set own goals in a professional manner
Ability to travel to Kidango headquarters and Kidango centers
Must pass a health screening and TB test
Must pass background fingerprint clearance
Valid Driver License
Must be 18 years or older
The ability to lift up to 30lbs may be needed during some job duties
