The role involves providing consulting services for Oracle PeopleSoft application installations, requiring strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft ELM and the ability to work directly with clients and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Provide PeopleSoft software/system functional and development consulting services at client location

Assess the high-level architectural design, research potential implementation road maps, and conduct feasibility assessments

Translate technical requirements reflecting customers desired outcomes helping developers produce the best product possible

Drive towards customer buy in and drive development processes when needed

Design, create, and test software with excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Work independently and as part of a team

Utilize deep functional knowledge across HCM, Financials, and Education applications, specifically within the PeopleSoft ecosystem

Make recommendations for low cost and long-term maintenance

Generate reporting artifacts and assist end users with understanding concepts

Required

Active/current TS/SCI with FS Poly ••REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE••

Minimum 8 years of technical experience relevant to this position

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred

Product or technical expertise in PeopleSoft ELM, HR and Financials, SQL, PeopleTools

Understanding of selective adoption and Peoplesoft Update Manager (PUM), Peoplesoft Query Manager, ELM data dictionary

Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients

Project Management background managing small to medium size projects and project teams

Experience with entire software development life cycle

Passion for technology, the curiosity and willingness to constantly learn new skills, work with new tools and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex technical challenges

The ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and, vice versa, translate functional needs to technical solutions
