Responsibilities

Handle preparations for parts requiring non-contact inspection scanning methods

Program, setup and operate Blue Light inspection system

Perform dimensional assessments of castings using Blue Light application

Perform first article, in-process & final inspections

Provide feedback to technicians, inspectors and engineers with dimensional data

Document, track and complete nonconformance reports

Provide inspection time estimates

Maintain and supervise inspection equipment calibrations

Process improvement

Maintain configuration control on files and job records. Safely work within an industrial environment

Required

A minimum of 2 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace/automotive/aviation components

Experience with Blue Light inspection system/ATOS or GOM or similar

Outstanding blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-2009 or 2018 standard

Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components

Experience with non-conformances, corrective actions, and other quality management system activities

Familiar with the use of personal computers

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
