Responsibilities

Develop architectural blueprints and integration patterns for payments/wires platforms
Define target-state architectures across Python, Java, .NET, Oracle, and Hadoop/Informatica ecosystems
Evaluate vendor and cloud solutions; ensure alignment with bank-wide technology principles
Review application designs for security, performance, observability, and operational readiness
Guide engineering teams through implementation phases and ensure standards compliance
Promote reuse, modular design, and modernization of legacy systems

Qualification

Required

3–10+ years firsthand experience in Python, Java, .NET, Oracle, and Hadoop/Informatica ecosystems
Strong architecture background across distributed, mission-critical systems
Experience designing large-scale financial applications, ideally in payments or money movement
Expertise across at least two major stacks (Python, Java, .NET)
Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, authentication/authorization
Ability to simplify complex systems and communicate architectural decisions clearly
Valid US work authorization and must physically reside around the posted city, within a 50-mile commute

Preferred

Knowledge of wire protocols (ISO20022, SWIFT MT, Fedwire, CHIPS)
Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS), containerization (Kubernetes)
Experience with data pipelines (Hadoop, Informatica)
