Responsibilities
Conduct independent research to make original discoveries
Collaborate with other researchers across departments
Present work internally and at external scientific conferences
Lead and drive scientific publications
Qualification
Required
A Ph.D. with a proven track record of excellence in investigating the biology of cancer
An independent thinker with integrity, strong passion for scientific discovery, outstanding communication skills, and methodological experience in biochemistry, cell biology, computational biology, and in vitro and in vivo cancer modeling
Have advanced at least one key research project evident by a first-author paper accepted or published in a leading peer-reviewed journal
Able to work both independently and as a team member
Theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in cancer-cell biology and computational biology
Track record of successfully conducting laboratory experiments
Ability to formulate scientific questions and hypotheses
Ability to design, perform, and interpret experiments to test these hypotheses
Ability to describe scientific findings, summarize them, and explain their significance
Excellent oral and written communication skills
