Beztak is a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company seeking a Project Manager to join their team. The role involves supervising the maintenance team to ensure properties are safe and appealing, coordinating building space, and maintaining compliance with municipal regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion

Engages with municipalities regarding plans for improvement, violations and all other needs

Proactively documents, tracks and audits and closes items and permits associated with code enforcement

Communicates with municipalities, vendors, team members, and others to organize and achieve satisfactory outcomes and consistent compliance

Maintains positive, proactive communication and professional relationships with those inspecting the community

Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates

Inspects construction and installation progress

Motivate and hold accountable a team to provide excellent customer service and high-quality repairs in a timely manner

Oversees various duties such as building repairs, snow removal, or groundskeeping to provide residents with a clean and well-maintained living environment

Responsible for the hiring of team members, and providing continuous learning and development of their team

Documents replacement of appliances, carpet, vinyl, water heaters, condensers, etc., in all units. Also tracks systems repairs, apartment painting (full paint or touch-up), refrigerator coil cleaning, and other major repairs

Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills

Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed

Required

High school diploma or related Vocational Training and/or equivalent work experience

1-2 years supervisory experience

Flexible, innovative, and demonstrates the ability to lead and manage

HVAC knowledge and EPA certification
