Accounting Analyst III/Sr

Boardwalk Pipelines is a limited partnership operating in the midstream portion of the natural gas and natural gas liquids industry, providing transportation and storage services. They are seeking an Accounting Analyst III/Sr to support accounting functions of projects, manage billing and reconciliations, and oversee payroll and invoicing processes.

Oil and Gas

Responsibilities

Manage reimbursable projects, including billing/refund settlements, DOT correspondence, and monthly reconciliations for Prepaids, A/R Reclass, and Overhead Reserve
Book overhead and tax gross-up entries at settlement and maintain tax gross-up forecast
Process payroll into projects and resolve system exceptions
Perform labor transfers between tasks and projects within the Projects module
Review and track alliance contractor invoices; monitor spending and resolve invoice discrepancies. Evaluate Alliance Agreement payment terms and maintain tracking spreadsheets
Prepare and book monthly journal entries
Prepare and book project write-offs
Assist with Oracle quarterly regression testing
Compile retention release packages, reconcile project spend to contracts, and coordinate lien waivers and release documentation with Operations

Solid understanding of core accounting principles, including the accurate application of debits and credits
BA/BS Finance or Accounting

Pipeline or other industry experience
