Responsibilities
Manage client relationships, both internally and externally
Oversee the performance of the engineering team and ensure the team achieves both team and company performance objectives
Provide strategic guidance and prioritization of work to ensure work is effectively supporting the goals of the assigned utility programs
Provide opportunities for engineers to grow professionally
Assure that engineering analysis is performed to the company’s standard of quality and certainty to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
Implement resource planning in conjunction with program managers and regional director(s)
Manage team projects and establish project scopes (deliverables, timeline, cost); basic understanding of contractual agreements
Provide performance reports to program directors and consult on potential improvements to improve team and program performance
Provide technical knowledge to explain complex energy issues to internal and external parties including customers and trade allies
Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; understand organization's strengths and weaknesses; analyze market and competition; identify external threats and opportunities; adapt strategy to changing conditions
Synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data; use intuition and experience to complement data; design work flows and procedure
