Responsibilities
Install and Maintain Electrical Systems
Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
Troubleshoot Electrical Issues
Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters and ammeters
Collaborate with Team Members
Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks, adhering to project specifications and industry standards
Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams
Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine the placement of outlets, fixtures, and wiring
Ensure Compliance
Stay updated on local building codes and regulations, ensuring all electrical work meets or exceeds required standards
Provide Exceptional Customer Service
Engage with clients professionally, addressing inquiries, explaining system operations, and offering maintenance advice to ensure long-term satisfaction
Maintain Accurate Documentation
Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and inspection reports, in a timely and accurate manner
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical vocational training program is preferred
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to electrical installations
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical installation and repair
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Completion of an electrical vocational training program
