Responsibilities
Provides a full range of storekeeping services involving quality control inspection, receipt, storage and issuance of a variety of perishable foodstuffs for all hotel kitchen operations
Receives incoming shipments of food, some of which have been reviewed by the hotel warehouse staff
Inventories and orders all direct issue items such as produce, dairy products, breads, etc
Completes receiving documents and moves to storage areas
Identifies and rotates stock ensuring special storage requirements have been met
Issues materials in accordance with established procedures
Verifies inventory and shipping documents, independently prepares shipping documents and related reports
May operate a forklift in storing and rotating stock
Qualification
Required
One year of general work experience and six months warehousing experience
Must have basic computer skills
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required upon appointment
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify) check
One year probationary period may be required
A physical examination may be required
Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required
Must possess a valid driver's license or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
