Responsibilities
Improvement of a specific process, product line, or function within one or more of the cheese or whey plants
Identification of opportunities to reduce the cost of production for a specific product or production line
Identification of the causes of waste within one or more manufacturing processes and recommendations for actions to eliminate the waste
Development of standard work processes to implement and sustain identified improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Completion of Sophomore year at a college or university and working towards a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, Food Science, Dairy Science or Ag Management/Science
Basic knowledge of MS Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Reliable transportation to and from work
