They are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support their engineering team with the design, testing, analysis, and documentation of electrical systems and components during a 12-week internship program.

Responsibilities

Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, development of specifications, and performance of detailed engineering

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components

Support schematic creation, wiring diagrams, and layouts

Assist with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation

Collect and analyze engineering data

Support testing

Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports

Participate in design reviews and engineering meetings

Follow company safety, quality, and compliance standards

Ensures conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures

Is aware of costs and schedule related to own work

Organizes own work to meet deadlines set by others

Communicates information, asks questions and checks for understanding

Contributes to a team environment

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

Completion of at least one year of core engineering coursework

Basic understanding of circuit analysis and electrical principles

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Has basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in electrical engineering

Experience with schematic capture or PCB design tools

Familiarity with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies)

Basic knowledge of power systems, controls, or electronics

Programming experience (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or PLCs, CADD)

Prior internship, lab, or relevant project experience

Ability to work independently and in a diverse team setting

Willingness to work across Engineering disciplines

Strong multitasking skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred

FE and EIT candidates preferred
