Quality Inspector IV - 1st Shift (onsite)

The role involves ensuring that every part entering production is compliant, reliable, and ready for mission-critical performance, while also serving as a key link between engineering, production, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Perform job inspection at first piece, in process and final inspection per the Job Instructions Sheet plans
Perform incoming inspection and final inspection duties
Knowledge of WHMA and IPC specifications
Interpret technical (GD&T) drawings
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI per AS9102 requirements
Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of gages and inspection equipment
Perform proper documentation including inspection stamping of quality paperwork
Maintain and improve 5S standards on workstations and responsible areas
Adhere to company EH&S policies and guidelines
Adhere to company Quality Policy
Work weekly rotations within different areas of quality
Use hand held tools (micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator and other measuring and test equipment
This position requires successful completion of a post-offer visual examination to assess visual acuity and color vision annually
Perform other duties as required

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
This position requires successful completion of a post-offer visual examination to assess visual acuity and color vision annually

Preferred

4+ years of professional Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word experience
