InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Journeyman to support the service needs of its customers. The role involves performing installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and EV charging infrastructure while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Perform infield installation of civil and electrical infrastructure including running conduit and wire, trenching and associated civil work, and other in field activities

Wiring buildings and electrical systems (commercial, industrial), installing lighting, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and panel, setting up electrical equipment, transformers, and generators

Troubleshooting electrical issues, repairing or replacing faulty wiring, fixtures, or equipment, performing outline inspections and preventive maintenance

Retrofitting older systems to meet current standards, upgrading panels or service capacity, installing energy-efficient systems (LED lighting)

Commissioning support for all EV Chargers

Assist in the coordination of third-party vendors for installations

Repair maintain, troubleshoot, and service electrical charging infrastructure using skills and tools that range from computer diagnostics to basic electrical tools

Measure charging infrastructure performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Represent the company at client locations with the highest standards of professional conduct

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in Procore and Field Lightening

Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

5+ years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings

Electrical Journeyman or higher qualification (or state/province equivalent)

OSHA 30 Card required or ability to obtain in 120 days of hire

ECAP certification (internal requirement) or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire

EVITP Certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire

Adaptable to the changing dynamics of start-up business strategy

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Detail-oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner)

Ability to Travel 50% - 75%

Equivalent is 8000 hours of hands on electrical construction experience

Preferred

Associates Degree or higher in an applicable technical field is desirable

ASE or other applicable certification is desirable

Commercial Drivers license or ability to obtain is highly desirable

Proficiency with Procore, or equivalent software a plus
