Responsibilities

Create sketches for development, draw in illustrator (most important)

Proficient in illustrator flat sketches

Strong photoshop/illustrator/InDesign

Create CAD presentations for internal and external use with speed and accuracy

Hands on knowledge of the textile market

Knowledge of fabric and print

Ability to create print artwork, put in repeat, rescale and recolor

Conceptualizing it from inception to finished product

Good understanding of the Fashion Trends

Setting a color story, working with fabric, and coordinating pieces that sit together

Working with factories to source fabric, trims, and prints for line development

Corresponding with factories

Must be able to spec and do fittings

Working with production teams to ensure quality product

Maintain daily organization and organize all material for design creation

Source fabric, prints and trims for line development

Created CADs, technical sketches and photographed garments for collection/chase accounts
