Responsibilities

Lead the procurement of OFCI equipment such as generators, switchgear, chillers, and CRAC units, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budget targets

Identify, qualify, and manage supplier and manufacturer relationships. Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards

Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Construction, Operations) to align procurement activities with project milestones and manage lead times effectively

Coordinate logistics for equipment deliveries, manage warehousing and staging, and implement Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to optimize capital deployment

Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, component obsolescence, and vendor performance

Monitor procurement budgets and support value engineering efforts to ensure cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality

Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal standards across all procurement activities. Manage supplier agreements, renewals, and dispute resolution

Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on procurement status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Required

Strong working knowledge of procurement-adjacent supply chain processes for mechanical, electrical, and data center-specific equipment and services

Strong knowledge of OFCI procurement practices, particularly for mechanical and electrical systems in data center environments

Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms

Excellent project coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills

Proficiency in project management tools, ERP systems, and data analytics platforms

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment

Ability to influence and partner with executive leadership to drive strategy and execution

Experience fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with operational execution
