Slot Performance Manager

Caesars Entertainment is a leading gaming and hospitality company, and they are seeking a Slot Performance Manager to manage and direct the overall operations of Slot Repair. The role involves overseeing slot floor installations, leading departmental initiatives, and ensuring compliance with gaming laws while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Reviews and analyzes all slot data
Responsible for leading all departmental initiatives related to the casino grand opening including hiring, training, process/procedure development, and product/equipment/supplies acquisition and installation
Responsible for leading the Slot Performance operation post opening
Develops and assigns responsibilities for each Slot Performance shift supervisor and ensures duties are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls, as well as Federal state and Gaming Control Agency rules and regulations
Relates this data to actual machine performance and recommends corrective action
Administers the slot data system, while analyzing and recommending needed changes or enhancements
Monitors and maintains the total logistic requirements of an effective slot repair operation, always anticipating the needs of today and the future
Maintains an effective training program for all slot repair personnel
Maintains an effective control of parts inventories and repair expenditures
Conduct Performance Reviews
Make or recommends wage increases and, promotions
Provides for safety and security
Handles employees' complaints or grievances
Recommends disciplinary action or disciplines employees
Supervises and monitors work
Monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws
Plans and coordinates special slot performance projects
Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls
Conducts effective analysis and reporting on slot products to maximize revenue and protect company assets
Ensures accurate completion of daily reports
Notifies appropriate Leadership of pertinent issues, as needed
Establish a budget for revenues and expenses and operates within those guidelines
Provides outstanding service when interacting with our guests
Creates initiatives to improve Team Member experience and employee opinion ratings
Sets performance expectations and provides coaching, career development planning and operational support for all direct reports
Establishes procedures to uphold strict adherence to state regulations and internal controls related to departmental processes
Applies Lean principles/techniques (i.e. applies countermeasures for waste, conducts daily visual mgt. and participates in kaizen events) to ensure quality and customer service is continuously improved
All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”
Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures
Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed
Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required

Required

Minimum of one-year supervision responsibility in the Slot Department
Must have a working knowledge of all the various types of slot machines/slot products, change machines, coin wrappers and any other equipment associated with slot repair
Must demonstrate organizational skills and have a background in a highly regulated jurisdiction
Literate and fluent in English
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Computer literacy
High school graduate or equivalent required
Excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and problem-solving skills are required
Must have a track record of personally providing excellent customer service
Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
Must present a well-groomed appearance
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed
Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, as well as lie on back to work inside the confines of a slot machine cabinet for long periods of time
Must be able to push and lift weight up to 100 pounds
Must be able to see small objects in poorly lighted areas
Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights
Must possess coordination and manual dexterity to work with power saws, etc
Must be able to continuously maneuver around casino/hotel as needed
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust

Preferred

College degree preferred; however experience may be substituted for education
