Responsibilities

Perform & monitor necessary setting adjustments such as machine programming, heat controls, cooling water temperatures, pressures and functioning of extruder and hydraulic pumping units
Perform quality control checks and help maintain customer requirements according to specification. Make adjustments to correct and/or eliminate defects
Perform mold changes and set ups as required within scheduled mold change timeframes utilizing in-process and setup sheets
Coordinate mold set-up activities with production schedules to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiencies
Troubleshoot mold problems and mold process issues, develop root cause and provide a quick permanent corrective action
Perform preventative maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment as assigned
Join with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reduction

Required

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent with 2+ years working experience
Proficient mechanical, electrical or other technical/machine operation experience
Ability to work OT when needed

Preferred

Associates in Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment
