Responsibilities

Participate in the identification, analysis, and prioritization of strategic business opportunities
Develop preparatory documents and present the findings of the project selection and prioritization process with project execution teams
Organize workshops, conduct interviews, and conduct research on related areas; use other information gathering techniques to refine and refine requirements
Define, document, and validate business requirements
Ensure deliverables meet business requirements
Provide detailed answers to the project team's questions regarding business requirements
Review deliverables to ensure they are evolving in accordance with business requirements
Identify and document test scenarios to ensure solutions will deliver actual design intent
Contribute to the definition and development of business analysis practices within division
Help refine business analysis methods, processes, and tools

Required

Bachelor's degree in commerce, management, engineering, computer science, or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a business analyst
Proven ability to identify and articulate business requirements and convert them into use cases, case studies, or test scenarios
Experience in assessing the costs, risks, and ROI of business projects
Exceptional skills in the Microsoft environment (Powerpoint, Excel, SharePoint, Project, etc.)
Strong problem-solving capability
Excellent analytical and information processing skills
Influence, persuasion, and the ability to drive change
Good judgment and discretion in sensitive situations
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Preferred

Master's degree is an asset
Knowledge of the business world with previous experience in the governmental or civic sector is a significant differentiator
