Law Practice
Responsibilities
Assist attorney and team in managing workers' compensation cases from intake through settlement
Organize casefiles and ensure all documents are up to date
Track case progress and deadlines to ensure compliance
Maintain files in case database (Smart Advocate)
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide case updates
Assist in coordinating and scheduling meetings and appointments with clients, doctors, and medical experts
Request authorization from the employer/workers’ comp. carrier for
Assist attorney with preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials
Qualification
Required
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office
Fluency in the English and Spanish languages, both verbally and in writing, Required
Excellent organizational skills and communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to juggle multiple activities and maintain a professional demeanor
Preferred
1-2 years working experience, preferably in an office setting or legal office
