Sales Engineer
Expert Connections is a women-owned recruiting firm specializing in professional and leadership roles across manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors. They are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive new business in the axle segment of the NAFTA automotive market, focusing on generating sales and managing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Generate and grow new sales within the axle and automotive automation market
Promote automation solutions to prospective customers
Develop and manage customer relationships and sales strategies
Visit customer sites to define automation concepts and opportunities
Collaborate with technical teams to prepare proposals
Achieve annual sales targets and manage key accounts
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience selling custom automation solutions
Leadership ability
Experience in systems integration / automation environments
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to develop and close new business
Strategic, self-driven, and customer-focused mindset
Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic & international)
Preferred
Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience
Axle experience is strongly preferred
