Responsibilities

Interact with design teams for project and product feature definition
Participate in design meetings and prepare requirements and design specifications
Design, write code, and complete programming according to specifications
Identify, analyze and resolve complex software/Hardware issues
Make recommendations and suggest alternative approaches for development projects

Required

Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
6 or more years of embedded controls experience
Must have a thorough understanding of the following: Embedded Software Development
Must have a thorough understanding of the following: MatLab
Must have a thorough understanding of the following: Simulink (MotoHawk/Raptor experience is a plus)
Must have a thorough understanding of the following: C/C++
Must have a thorough understanding of the following: CAN bus communications

Preferred

Additional working knowledge in the following is also preferred: Control Theory
Additional working knowledge in the following is also preferred: Understanding of Internal Combustion Engines
Additional working knowledge in the following is also preferred: Understanding of Marine vessels and features
Additional working knowledge in the following is also preferred: Working knowledge of Vector Tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe)
Additional working knowledge in the following is also preferred: Ability to design and build test fixtures
