They are seeking a highly skilled New Product Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement new motor products from concept to production, collaborating closely with R&D and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Work closely with R&D during prototype phases to understand design concept and provide input on build process

Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop manufacturing processes for new platform motor designs and customer-specific designs

Develop the manufacturing process for new servo and brushless motor products

Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the best manufacturing methods

Design and implement production workflows, equipment, and tooling

Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Investigate and propose potential areas for automation during the new product development process as well as with newly launched programs

Develop process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues

Design and implement tooling to facilitate building motor components, prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology

Support manufacturing ramp-up through troubleshooting and effective problem-solving

Drive yield and manufacturability improvements while maintaining quality and safety standards
