Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, and substantive legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and manage discovery, including requests, responses, and e-discovery processes
Argue hearings and support trial preparation, working closely with partners and senior associates
Take and defend depositions, with increasing autonomy as experience grows
Coordinate with local counsel and manage day-to-day litigation tasks
Qualification
Required
1–9 years of general litigation experience, ideally with commercial exposure
Strong academic credentials with excellent research, writing, and organisational skills
Self-starter with sound judgement and the ability to prioritise effectively
Member of the Texas Bar (required)
Preferred
Courtroom or deposition experience preferred but not essential for junior candidates
Senior candidates should have experience managing commercial matters from start to finish
