Inventory Control Analyst

Toyota Material Handling is seeking a passionate and dedicated Inventory Control Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of materials for production, optimizing inventory levels, and analyzing supply chain metrics to drive performance.

Responsibilities

Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs
Effectively utilize inventory management tools to prevent stock shortages and overages
Ensure proper part set up for ordering in accordance with ‘Plan for Every Part’ initiative
Collaborate with suppliers to:
Ensure timely delivery of materials
Resolve any supply issues
Promote a customer-supplier partnership/relationship
Generate purchase orders
Track order status
Expedite deliveries as necessary to prevent production disruption
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material planning and inventory management to identify areas for improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory turnover
Collaborate with departments such as Procurement, Logistics, Production Planning, and Quality Assurance to ensure smooth coordination across the supply chain

Inventory ManagementData AnalysisProduction Planning SystemsMS Office ProficiencyCSPMAPICS CertificationCommunication SkillsCross-Functional Collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or equivalent years of experience
Proficient with MS Office applications and highly talented in Excel
Experience with production planning systems, MRP, Kanban, and Just-In-Time inventory techniques

Preferred

CSPM or APICS certification is a plus
Results oriented and strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level
