Responsibilities
Processing (picking + scanning + packing) produce items
Ensure produce items are of highest quality for our customers
Safe Food Practices specific to department
Assist in housekeeping of the department
Maintain excellent safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse
Audit product for quality
Maintain a team player mentality by assisting others when the need arises
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
In a workday: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, flashing lights
Constant exposure to temperatures: <-10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators)- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
Ability to work in other areas of the business as needed

Required
Must be customer focused
Must be passionate about quality
Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Must be able to work holidays
Must be able to start overnight or early morning hours (start times vary by department)
Must be comfortable in a warehouse/production environment
Ability to meet production and accuracy standards in a fast-paced work environment
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to push, pull, squat, twist, kneel, reach, turn and bend
Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs intermittently during a typical work shift
Comfortable and able to work an 8-12hr shift (hours per day are based on business need)
Must be able to stand for the majority of your shift
Ability to work in a climate of 35 and 70 degrees
Required to wear oil and slip-resistant shoes
Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture
Preferred
Previous produce and/or quality assurance experience is a plus
