Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and platforms
Lead a team of data engineers to design modern, cloud-native solutions integrating structured and unstructured data across secure environments
Serve as a technical and strategic leader
Build and maintain enterprise data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, and mission-critical decision-making
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Set engineering standards
Ensure data quality
Drive innovation
Enable the organization to leverage data as a secure, strategic asset at scale
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with building and maintaining data pipelines
5+ years of experience with ETL development in NiFi, Java, Python, SQL, or Scala
3+ years of experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, or Kafka
Experience with AWS services, including RDS and Aurora
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred
Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, or other Kafka ecosystem tools
Experience with NiFi for data flow automation
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or related orchestration tools
Experience with monitoring tools, such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Elasticsearch
Experience with real-time data and streaming architectures
