The ideal candidate will have experience in intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions and will be responsible for advising on various agreements and collaborating on emerging technologies.

Responsibilities
Advise on intellectual property matters in connection with corporate transactions, including M&A, public offerings, and financings
Structure, draft, and negotiate intellectual property and commercial agreements, including licensing, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements
Work on high-stakes transactions involving the commercialization of products and services with intellectual property at their core
Collaborate with colleagues across various practice groups, working on the latest emerging technologies
Contribute to business development and the firm’s growth in technology-focused transactions
Qualification
Required
JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials
At least six years of law firm or in-house experience handling licensing and technology transaction matters
Admission to the Minnesota, California, Utah, Texas, or Washington bar or ability to become admitted in one of these states
Excellent communication and writing skills, with an eye for detail
A motivated self-starter with strong teamwork skills and curiosity
