Responsibilities
Serve as lead counsel on complex real estate finance matters, managing transactions from start to finish
Represent lenders in debt financing secured by real property across diverse asset classes
Structure and negotiate land banking, mezzanine, preferred equity, and other alternative financing arrangements
Oversee all aspects of closing, documentation, and client communication with confidence and clarity
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing practice that values judgment, initiative, and commercial awareness
Qualification
Required
J.D. with admission to the Minnesota bar
7–10 years of substantive experience in real estate finance
Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to run deals independently
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
Preferred
Prior large law firm experience strongly preferred
