Senior Manager, Global IT Infrastructure - Eng & Architecture
Photronics is a global leader in photomask technology, and they are seeking a Senior Manager for their Global IT Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture. This role involves shaping and standardizing global IT infrastructure, defining architectural standards, and leading a team to ensure operational readiness of infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities
Define, maintain, and evolve global infrastructure architecture standards across cloud, identity, network, compute, storage, and endpoint platforms
Build and execute multi-year infrastructure roadmaps aligned to business strategy, security requirements, and cost optimization goals
Establish and formalize architectural governance, operational acceptance criteria, and engineering hand-off standards
Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors, making recommendations that support scalability, reliability, and security
Provide architectural leadership for enterprise identity platforms, including Active Directory and cloud-based identity services (e.g., Entra ID), supporting consolidation, trust design, and secure access models
Oversee architectural design and deployment of Microsoft Azure services, ensuring strong governance, resiliency, and financial discipline
Guide modern endpoint and device management strategies, including Microsoft Intune and related MDM/MAM capabilities
Lead and develop a global Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for designing, building, and deploying enterprise infrastructure solutions
Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and repeatable deployment practices to improve scalability and reliability
Ensure delivery of complete technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials to support operational readiness
Partner closely with Infrastructure Operations, Information Security, Audit, and Compliance teams to align architecture with regulatory and lifecycle requirements
Support modernization initiatives, lifecycle planning, and global decommissioning efforts
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, architecture, or platform engineering
Proven ability to design and govern scalable, secure infrastructure solutions aligned to business needs
Strong experience within Microsoft-based enterprise environments
Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams, large initiatives, or global programs
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
Experience operating in environments with strong security, compliance, or regulatory expectations
Enterprise identity and access management (Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO, MFA)
Cloud infrastructure and governance (Azure IaaS/PaaS)
Endpoint and device management (Intune, modern MDM/MAM)
Data center, virtualization, storage, or network architecture
Infrastructure automation and IaC practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)
8+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, architecture, or platform engineering or equivalent scope and impact
3–5+ years leading engineering teams, architecture functions, or complex infrastructure programs
Experience delivering large-scale, multi-region or enterprise-wide infrastructure initiatives
Exposure to multi-year roadmap planning, modernization efforts, and budget ownership
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms is a plus
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
Preferred
Experience aligning infrastructure architectures with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC, or SOX
Strong security-by-design mindset and experience partnering with InfoSec and Audit teams
Relevant certifications are valued but not required, including: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP or equivalent security certification, ITIL Foundation or Practitioner
