Responsibilities

Drive strategic growth of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services in North America’s defense, aerospace, and marine sectors
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with TÜV SÜD’s global vision and regional priorities
Build and maintain relationships with Ministries of Defense, OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology innovators
Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and regulatory trends (e.g., MIL-STD, NATO, ITAR, AS9100)
Support internal capability development, including lab upgrades and accreditation for defense-related testing
Represent TÜV SÜD in industry associations, working groups, and innovation clusters

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, or marine sectors in strategic or commercial roles
Strong knowledge of defense/aero/marine standards and certification ecosystems
Proven ability in strategy development and execution
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Willingness to travel regionally and globally

Preferred

MBA preferred
Familiarity with EMC, RF, battery, environmental, or cyber testing (nice-to-have)
