The role involves advising premier venture capital, growth equity, and institutional investors across the full fund lifecycle while guiding sponsors through the structuring and formation of private investment vehicles.

Responsibilities
Lead fund formation engagements for venture, growth, and other private investment vehicles
Advise sponsors on the Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act
Counsel investors on all aspects of their investment programs, including diligence, governance, and regulatory considerations
Serve as a key strategic partner to clients navigating the full arc of the fund lifecycle
Contribute to mentoring, knowledge development, and continued expansion of a thriving national practice
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in fund formation with meaningful sponsor-side and investor-side work
Deep fluency in federal securities laws applicable to private funds
Experience from a leading national or international law firm
Exceptional academic background and superior communication skills
A proactive, business-minded attorney who thrives in a client-first, team-oriented environment
